Who Are We?
Hi! We’re Hannah Song and Celine Mekha, two dedicated high school seniors who have seen the gender imbalance in STEM firsthand throughout our academic endeavors.
Our personal experiences have fueled our passion to make a difference, hence why we founded STEMGEMS—an initiative designed to empower and support young girls as they explore and pursue their interests in STEM.
Our Mission
Our mission is to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and bridge the gender gap in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, one fun project at a time. We aim to provide hands-on activities and online resources for younger girls, helping them discover STEM's endless possibilities from an early age.

Vishakha is a sophomore passionate about biology, performing arts, and writing, which motivates her to forge a path for the next generation of young female pioneers in STEM to succeed.
